Would it be possible to make a subtask not inherit from the parent? I want to be able to create a subtask for an issue, but allow certain (external) clients be able to see the parent, but not be able to see the subtasks. I have issue level security created, but I simply can't assign it to the subtask because it says:

Security Level The security level of subtasks is inherited from parents.

      Any fixes or work arounds?
