      Problem Definition

      Currently, if a user with a German preferred language enters into a number field, eg: 100.1
      Jira will display that the number is invalid and would only accept 100,1

      Suggested Solution

      Allow user defined number separator

      Workaround

      Use a text field instead of a number field

      Why is it important

      Switzerland users would also use German language and the current decimal separator for the language "," while the Swiss uses "."
