I'm happy to share that the left alignment option for tables has now rolled out (release track customers you can expect this update in the August bundle).

You can learn more about this change and a number of other recent updates to tables in our community post here. If you have any feedback or questions, please don't hesitate to share them with us on the community post or this ticket.

In light of the response to my last status update, we understand that the primary ask from this ticket was to add a left alignment option for tables. As such, we've decided to create a seperate ticket here to track the suggestion to add a right alignment option for tables - which from your feedback and our research, appears to have very low utility.

I will also be closing this ticket to reflect it's completion. Thanks again to everyone who engaged with us here.

Thank you for your patience and ongoing feedback on this ticket. I know it's been a while since we've provided an update here and I apologise for that.
 
Some good news - the team is currently working on introducing a left alignment option for tables. In addition to this we will be making tables created in full-width pages insert left aligned by default. These changes are currently on track to ship in the next couple of months.
 
Please can you also help us better understand how critical the following alignment options are to you:

1. A right alignment option
2. Wrap left and wrap right options (and if possible, why using layouts is falling short for you here?)

A quick update to let you know that we are listening, and moving this ticket into “under consideration” thanks to your recent feedback.

Our current areas of focus are on bringing drag n drop functionality to tables, as well as enhancements to table responsive behaviour, however providing additional table alignment options is something we plan to explore as soon as capacity allows.

Please also refer to the update on this suggestion ticket here which is relevant to full-width pages.

In the meantime please also be aware that layouts can be used as a workaround for aligning your tables left or right, or placing them next to other content on the page.
