      Dear JPM Team,

      We would like to suggest the enhancement of notifications in Jira. Just like there is in Confluence for when you f.e. are mentioned in a Jira ticket.  
      These handy notifications would be very effective in Jira projects and Jira Service Management / Service Desk. And it will save a lot of e-mail traffic if you have this as an option, next to the e-mail option.
      We know that there is a plugin, but why not provide this as a standard?

      So our suggestions are:

      • Notifications about when the assignee changes or is set to yourself by someone else
      • Notifications when you are mentioned or something changes in the issue/ticket
      • The same kind of bell/balloon as in Confluence for all the notifications in Jira
