Following the implementation of CONFCLOUD-2085, users can now rename the space key in Confluence, but this change only affects the visible alias. The system space key, which serves as an internally generated identifier, remains unchanged and cannot be renamed. This limitation poses challenges for customers who wish to import a space with an identical system space key in the import file , as they are unable to rename the system space key. Consequently, they must delete the existing space before importing the new one. It would be beneficial to introduce a feature that allows the modification of the system space key, allowing spacekey format to uppercase and enabling customers to test their migrations smoothly without the need to delete spaces explicitly.
